"About Sun Country Estates"
After discussion and review, the Board approved and authorized a third-party testing agency, GeoSyntec, paid for by the Golf Course, to conduct a coordinated and controlled test of the water system’s capacity. The purpose of the test is to help determine the feasibility of a potential short-term water usage agreement.
As part of the test, water was discharged at approximately 50 gallons per minute (gpm) from a fire hydrant located at approximately 47.18750, -121.05674, for a 24-hour period. The discharged water flowed into a nearby irrigation ditch that ultimately feeds the Sun Country Golf Resort’s irrigation storage pond.
Throughout and following the testing period, groundwater levels, system pressure, and reservoir capacity were continuously monitored. The resulting data will be analyzed to better understand how the various components of our water system, including the aquifer, storage tank levels, system pressure, and pumping capacity, respond to this level of sustained demand.
We want to reaffirm that protecting the health and reliability of the community water system is of the utmost importance. The Board and the Golf Resort are taking a deliberate and responsible approach to determining whether a water usage agreement is feasible.
No agreement should move forward unless the testing and subsequent analysis demonstrate that it can be accomplished without compromising the reliability and long-term sustainability of the community water system.
We have contracted this year with "JEWETT DIRT WORKS LLC" for this years Snowplowing

Jewett Dirt Works LLC will offer driveway and walkway clearing plowing services to SCMA homeowners.
